ABOUT RICK
Rick Biordi – Guitarist | Singer/Songwriter | Music Director | Producer
Rick Biordi is a guitarist, singer/songwriter, and producer whose music blends soulful blues, rock, and groove with heartfelt songwriting and dynamic performances. Now based in the Pacific Northwest, Rick brings decades of experience as a live performer, music director, and studio collaborator to stages and studios across the region.
Originally from Chicago, Rick came of age during the golden era of classic rock, Motown, and guitar-driven innovation. He drew early inspiration from icons like Carlos Santana, Robin Trower, and Steve Lukather—artists whose influence can still be heard in his expressive playing and rich melodic tone.
Over the years, Rick has shared the stage with a diverse range of artists including Eddie Martinez (Robert Palmer), Shawn Christopher, Steve Cole, Tina Crawley, Todd Sucherman (Styx), and Grammy® Award-winner Speech (Arrested Development). His versatility and collaborative spirit have made him a respected presence in both live and studio settings.
Since relocating to the Pacific Northwest, Rick has quickly become a part of the region’s vibrant music community. His live shows reflect his deep musical roots, passion for connection, and dedication to authenticity—qualities that resonate with both audiences and fellow musicians.
In addition to his work as a performer and producer, Rick is deeply committed to using music for good. He created and led the “Cure4Alz” benefit concert to raise funds and awareness for Alzheimer’s research, partnering with local artists and donating all proceeds to the Alzheimer’s Association of Oregon and South Washington. He continues to advocate for causes close to his heart through music.
